Renting video games has drastically shot up in popularity as of late. This has made me really think about who offers the absolute best service when it comes to video game rentals. When it comes to selecting the best service, it really comes down to a few things: Price, Delivery, and Availability.
Thats all you really need, right? Price, naturally because we want the best for the cheapest. Delivery, because we want our video games we rented to be in our hands as quickly as possible. Lastly theres availability, because we dont want to wait for weeks and weeks to get a brand new video game.
With price, you need to really consider your life style when deciding on a budget. If you are person who LOVES playing video games, then you might want to select the plan that will let you have 3 video game titles out at once. However, if you are a person who just enjoys playing games in his free time (like me) then one game title out at a time is more then enough! The more games you can have out at once, the more youll pay its that simple! Most video game rental services have plans from 1-3 games out at a time, but I've seen some that offer more.
With delivery, there are a few things to consider. First and foremost you want to see if the warehouse they ship from is close from you. Some of the bigger places have 4 warehouses that they ship from (one in pretty much every corner of the United States) so no matter what youll get your games in about 2-3 days. However, some of the lesser known services may have one or two shipping centers and it might take up to 4-5 days to receive your rented games. For most people though, its not really a big deal if it takes 2 days to receive a game or if it takes 4 days. But if you are a person who likes immediate gratification, then this is a point you must consider.
Last but certainly not least is availability. If you are a classic gamer and you like renting playstation 2 games then it will benefit you greatly to look ahead of time and see if they offer those titles. Likewise, if you really like playing the newest titles out then you need to check to see if the site is big enough (or popular enough) to have the availability that you need, or at the very least have availability enough to give you a short wait time. Another great thing to look for is to see if they are willing to ship other games out to you while you wait, and as soon as the game that you really want becomes available they ship that one out to you as well!
